What is a Microprovider?
A micro provider or micro enterprise is an individual or group of people who work in their local community, usually in a small geographical area, on a self employed basis.
They provide tailored health and social care, or other support services to help improve a client's well being, enabling them to be independent within their own homes.
Bringing a refreshing approach to care and support, we aim to put the individual at the center and tailor their services accordingly. With personalization, reliability, flexibility, and a supportive community, microproviders are transforming the care landscape. Freedom Providers is a brand new project powered by Yorkshire in Business, testing if there is an alternative way to deliver home support and day services where access can be limited and ‘health and social care’ resources are stretched/limited.
